This workshop gave me a lot to think about and the tools I needed to work through ideas. I really appreciated the opportunity to speak with others in the group and Sabrina's expertise.
All good but whith fewer people could be better
It was certainly an eye opener workshop! Learned a lot.
It was an inspirational workshop, and Sabrina really focuses on the animals’ perspective, taking into account their biological needs, natural behavior, and relationship with their environment.
A very inspiring workshop with lots of insights and practical tools that shape my view of how we keep wild animals. Drawing on years of experience, Sabrina combined facts and theory with encouraging stories that captivate the listener. Her countless worksheets and reflection questions are very thought-provoking. Throughout the sessions we have applied the new concepts directly to our own case examples, which means I go home with practical ideas that I can implement right away.
This workshop was, without a doubt, a turning point in my way of working and dealing with the animals under my care: it gave me the confidence to trust my instincts and believe even more in my capacities. It was definitely an unique experience that gave me the tools to help me see my daily challenges in a different and lighter perspective from now on. Absolutely amazing!
The workshop was very interesting and made me think about different perspectives that I had never considered before.
The workshop was a highly positive and insightful experience that deepened my understanding of how to view environments from an animal’s perspective. I especially valued learning how to design appropriate, species-specific habitats that support natural behaviors and overall well-being. The only drawback was that we didn’t have enough time to visit back-of-house areas to observe and discuss animal behavior and environments in real time, which would have added valuable real-life context.
The entire workshop session conducted by Sabrian Brando demonstrated profound knowledge and a captivating speech that culminated in significant learning and new values to consider in animal care. I feel this is something that needs to be addressed more in all parks with animals. Therefore, keep up the great work!
