Laurell is an excellent trainer and is really good at engaging the group with the subject matter. I really appreciate the session having a long lunch break in the middle so it doesn't mean a whole day away from work. There are good opportunities for sharing practical examples with the rest of the group and learning from others about techniques that have been tried and how they work in practice. I am also gaining good awareness about how the different concepts introduced in the course apply to my role.

I found the course interesting, engaging and empowering. Laurell is clearly an extremely experienced and skilled teacher. I felt that the sessions provided an open, supportive atmosphere while also providing constructive challenge when necessary. In particular, I found the DiSC profiling a revealing exercise, which has helped me to better understand some of the issues and tensions I have recently faced in my work.

I am really appreciating the course. The training is excellent and so is being with my manager peers. I personally find that it difficult to recall what I've learnt unless I am actively using it but this is my issue - too many competing prioroties. I hope lockdown eases enough that we can have some sessions in person as I think that would help with discussions. Laurell is amazing!

I'm enjoying the course so far and finding it useful. After each session I'm trying to embed some of the learnings into my day-to-day approach - in particular I've drawn on the time management training and 'monkey management.' I also found my one-to-one coaching session with Marion very helpful.

Laurell is an amazing trainer, and we've got such a great group dynamic with her guiding us through our management journey. I really look forward to each session and I've been trying to implement all of the ideas in my day to day job.

Thoroughly enjoyed the morning and afternooon session. I thought the topic was relevent and interesting, and the trainer was extremelly knowledgeable about the topic. I will be taking things that i learnt on board with me and use it for my future career to improve my customer service. I will try to take ownership of tasks more regularly, and be more interested with the customer by acknowledging their fears and concers.

A decent foundation, although much of what was covered could be considered common knowledge for those in professional roles, and not a whole lot of it was actionable tools as much as general information.

Prior to the course I was a worried that spending that amount of time on Zoom might be a bit much. Also that we wouldn't get from it what we would from an in person training. However, it was brilliantly delivered. The afternoon flew because it was enjoyable and the clever use of virtual break out rooms meant that we could engage just as we would in real life. Thanks Laurell!
