It was okay. The session seemed more of a masterclass for leaders in risk and compliance technical leadership, rather than a leadership masterclass about strategic risk management and its application in different functions and Firm-wide leadership roles. I expected that we would examine strategic RM from a board or multidisciplinary perspective, embed risk into wider business strategies, empower accountability and decision making with wider leaders (influence was mentioned and Jonathan did mention the relevance of some topics he discussed back to the culture session). It would have been good to have perhaps included some breakout exercises to reflect over the content (with points to keep on track). This would have helped to consider application in our differing roles and environments, to challenge each other and better help facilitate application. It was mentioned that the group represents a wide range of specialisms and technical areas at strategic / leadership level, however, the session seemed one size fits all unfortunately. The content seemed to resonate really well for attendees in Risk and Compliance functions, as they engaged in discussion (i.e. about risk statements), however, there wasn't much room for those of us from different backgrounds to translate / apply 'live on-air', and it felt a bit stilted as a result. Have started my reflective log, where I hope to apply the principles covered through notes and bring in live examples to explore application and adoption.

Really impressive masterclass. I would probably suggest that we try to move through the entry level information quicker, with even with some expected time points so that it is understood by others that more time spent on an early part would reduce time on later ones
