We recently completed the Basic Life Support 2-hour training with Surrey First Aid Training on 24 June 2026, led by Brendan, and found it very well delivered and valuable. The session was split into two groups of 15 staff, which worked well and allowed plenty of time for hands-on practice. Brendan explained everything clearly and ensured everyone had the opportunity to take part and build confidence with the techniques. He was calm, patient, and supportive throughout, creating a relaxed and engaging learning environment. Overall, as a practice, we feel more confident in our ability to respond effectively in an emergency.

Not enough practice time for non clinical staffResponse : Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Due to the group size and time requested by the surgery, there simply is not the potential for a more hand on experience. We would recommend you speak with your employer about this for any future training.

Going through medical emergency drugs, asthma, epilepsy, diabetes etc would also be helpfulResponse : Thank you for this feedback. We offer extended training which cover this content on the 6 hour Emergency First at Work, its a great course we run in Guildford or at the workplace.
