Being able to learn in a small class of 3 is the perfect opportunity. The three of us have about the same level of ability and the same desire to learn so we are making great progress. Andreia, or teacher, is also excellent at judging how hard and how far to challenge us and when to consolidate.

I am very happy with the way Andreia is working with me. It is turning out to be a mix of private sessions to accelerate my learning and now group sessions because I am virtually caught up. Because I am travelling quite a bit we will maintain momentum with online sessions. It is such a relief to have the flexibility from Andreia and the school such that I can continue to focus my efforts. Andreia is an excellent teacher with a friendly and informal approach that helps to make the student relax and enjoy the learning process. She also provides clear and informative explanations of the complexities of the portuguese language. We normally meet face-to-face but our occasional classes online have also worked well.

Teachers are excellent and very patient with students who don't really show any progress! It is good to use a book but not to be bound by it but to use other materials too, also to allow the conversation to wander. That way we learn expressions and vocab from every day life and situations.
