Overall, my experience with Unit 1 of the NEBOSH International Diploma has been challenging but very valuable. The lessons covered important topics in occupational health and safety and helped me develop a better understanding of how safety principles are applied in actual workplace situations. At first, the amount of information and the level of detail were quite overwhelming. However, as I progressed through the unit, I gradually became more comfortable with the topics and learned how to look at workplace health and safety situations from a more practical perspective. I particularly appreciated the interactive lessons. They made the learning experience more engaging and helped me understand different workplace situations better. Discussing and working through practical scenarios made it easier for me to relate the concepts to real-life situations that could occur in the workplace. Overall, completing Unit 1 has given me a stronger foundation in occupational health and safety. Although it was challenging, I found the experience rewarding and gained knowledge that I can apply to my future career in the field.
