Keith was very helpful and relax throughout the training. If there was something that you didn't understand he was always ready to assist. It would be nice if he was going to take the HTM 01-01 part C which is in 2 weeks time. i

Possibly due to lack of organisation and venue, I feel the practical sessions and assessments were incomplete and rushed. The PowerPoint was admittedly outdated. The trainer was professional and overcame problems. His knowledge was excellent.Response : Hi Fraser, I agree that the practical sessions could have been better. For the amount of candidates, we really needed access to two W/D's and have two sets of functioning test equipment. Unfortunately, we didn't have either and we had to improvise. I take your point about the Powerpoint. That will be updated. I look forward to meeting you again in November.

The course was taught to a very high standard. It is refreshing to be trained by an engineer who is currently working within the industry and can give practical knowledge as well as theoretical. Thankfully, the trainer was able to provide all equipment required in order to carry out the course. The exam questions could use some improvement as some questions could have multiple answers. Having previously completed the Authorised Persons (Decontamination) course, I would suggest that potential AP(D)'s complete the periodic testing course beforehand. I feel that I have solidified my knowledge gained on the AP(D) course via the completion of this one. A rather backward momentum.
