The content was well-structured and engaging, and I particularly appreciated the strong alignment with real-world environmental challenges and frameworks. A real highlight was the diversity within the cohort – the group included professionals from a wide range of industries, which encouraged rich discussions and offered valuable perspectives on how environmental management principles are applied across sectors. I also found that I was able to apply a good degree of my existing skill set throughout the course, which really helped reinforce the relevance of my current role and responsibilities. It was encouraging to see how my on-the-job experience complements the formal learning – especially around legislation awareness, environmental risk management, and continual improvement practices. Overall, the course was a great investment in both professional development and practical capability.

I enjoyed all the links to more information. Tutor always answered questions even if she had to look up and was always willing to do so. Not everything is relevant to my job but good to have knowledge wider than current role, gives a broader knowledge. Nice than the course cohort remained the same and that it was small only 8. I preferred doing it online than having to go to another city as it was not offered in my city.

Excellent tutor on week 3, the teaching improved massively as the weeks went by overall in the course.

Overall an excellent and very worthwhile course. At times the group exercises seemed quite excessive to complete over MS TEAMS and may have been easier in a classroom based environment. Trainers knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for the subject was exceptional!

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the course. The tutor created a welcoming environment for interaction and explained examples in a clear, accessible way that made the content easy to understand. They also provided detailed explanations whenever questions were raised, which greatly enhanced the learning experience. It would be great to keep the same Tutor for whole course.

Very good tutor with a great deal of knowledge and experience which really comes through. Good pace and plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The Teams format works well. The material does now seem to be getting out of date - seems not really updated for last several years but that may be due to ISEP not updating the course. One small comment to note - on Day 3 (week 2) it seemed liked the slides were not quite in the same order as the content in the manual so it felt harder to follow. I've been enjoying the course and now have plenty of reading / learning to do to absorb the material, but that's a sign that a lot of the content is new to me (hence why I did the course!). ... Thank you!

Week two I felt was more in-line with what I am wanting from the course. More UK based information and scenarios.

A lot of information in week one but great training material and tutor knowledge. The course was well paced and interactive.

The slides and the handouts don't always flow together. Jim was excellent, probably the best of the 3 trainers we have had. I wish we had had him from day 1 week 1 to be honest. The week went well. He was the best at letting conversation go, he gave us good breaks to decompress and was great at adding extra stuff and websites to back up the discussion.
