4.9 (139 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Attendees particularly value the course’s live-style test rig, which makes valve operations, pressure changes and the consequences of poor practice visible and practical. They describe the balance of classroom theory and hands-on learning as engaging, well structured and easy to follow, with clear explanations of network operations, hydraulics and regulations. Trainers are knowledgeable, friendly and responsive, while the learning builds confidence and proves useful for field planning, isolation work and new starters.

Nice, clean environment to learn in. The rig was fun to use and good to see the pressure changes on the screen. Mark was helpful and efficient.

Really enjoyed it. Ally valve keys and the t bars are now banned by most water companies. Didn't have calm network keys on a calm network course? No mention of the new valving apps. Just needs bringing up to date.

Overall I found the valve operations course very informative. A structured course content on clean water network operations, basic water hydraulics and water regulations. The set up of the practical element really helps you learn the basics of valve operations and best practice: CALM method. I suggest a one sheet handout at the end of the day to summarise the key points. Thank you Alan for the delivery of a great course.
