I had the pleasure of learning to drive a bus with Jamie and I can honestly say it was one of the best training experiences I’ve had. From day one, he was professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. What stood out the most was his calm and supportive teaching style. Whether it was mastering tricky manoeuvres, navigating busy roads, or preparing for the test, Jamie made sure I felt confident every step of the way. He explained everything clearly, gave constructive feedback, and always encouraged me to improve. Thanks to his guidance, I passed my test feeling well-prepared and ready for the road ahead. I highly recommend Jamie to anyone looking to become a safe, skilled, and confident bus driver.
The driver training was excellent—well-organised, informative, and really effective. I had Matt as my trainer for the entire duration, and he was fantastic. His professionalism and knowledge were clear from the start, but it was his calm, relaxed approach that made a real difference. He created a comfortable learning environment that made the whole experience far more enjoyable and confidence-boosting. When it came to my driving test, it turned out to be a bit of a strange experience. I was marked with a major fault for speeding, even though the bus never actually reached the speed limit. Matt and I had practiced that exact route multiple times, and the vehicle simply doesn’t go fast enough on that stretch to exceed the limit. In addition, there were a few comments made during the practical test that didn’t feel entirely professional, which added to the discomfort of the situation. It was a frustrating outcome, especially after all the solid preparation—but it didn’t take away from the quality of the training or the positive experience overall. Massive thanks to Matt
