These classes will not prep you for Cert exams in totality if you have not worked in the IT field for some time. You will need to spend a lot of "off" time working for test prep for Cert exams. Those test are not designed for someone who only has 40 hours of exposure to pass. Great courses overall! but there is an aspect of work that needs to be done outside of class to be ready for Cert exams in addition to class time.
I missed the last day due to being diagnosed with covid. So, i was told to log in on september 15 at 1200pm to take my end of course assessment. so i logged on and waited for the mentor to pop on so that they could proctor my exam and i waited 30mins and he did not log on. So there fore I was unable to take my end of course exam.
Detailed course with an awesome instructor who connected the information with real world examples.
I will know more in the next 4 weeks. there is alot of material. labs were/are complicated. It will take me a few weeks to give a better assessment of the overall materials. Two more courses lined up back to back. if they build on what i have learned in this course and feeds into the SEC+ certification test, then it will be great. otherwise there will be challenges to Prep for Sec+ Cert while successfully attempting to complete CND and CEH without loosing too much of SEC+
I would recommend ACI to anyone seeking knowledge in technology.
This course was very engaging, forcing myself to really dig deep to retain the vast amounts of information I need to become successful in IT Security.
