He is very good at making the learning transferable and relatable, which supports the session and helps ensure that everyone is able to follow along, contribute and take part effectively. For example, during today’s session we explored the different types of averages, including mean, mode, median and range. Liam explained the differences between each clearly and adapted his explanations where needed to make sure everyone understood not only how to calculate them, but also when each one might be useful. We also discussed consistency within sets of data and worked through grouped frequency tables. Liam was able to break these areas down into manageable steps, rewording explanations and using different examples where required, which helped make the learning much easier to follow and apply independently.
