About this course
By the end of the course you will be confident in using the essential features of Visio to create connected multi-layered diagrams. Delegates must be confident in using Windows and a mouse. This course is for anyone who has never used Visio before (or any other graphics package). This course is especially useful if you are involved in any of the following; mapping process flow diagrams, organisation charts, network diagrams, software design or scaled diagrams i.e. room layouts.
What you will learn
- Open templates and stencils
- Understand the layout of the drawing window and how to zoom
- Format shapes and text
- Use foreground and background pages to produce consistent layouts
- Connect shapes using connector tools
- Create basic flowcharts, process flowcharts and organisation charts
- Create hyperlinks between pages and save your drawings for use on an intranet or internet

I scored the manual lower as we didn't really use it in the session (which is better, I don't like sessions where you just follow a book).
It was difficult to handle a mixed ability group, but the trainer did a great job of keeping us all learning & engaged
