Description
Your reports are scrutinised. Your findings must withstand legal challenge. Yet most professionals receive no formal training in report writing.
This one-day professional report writing course will ensure attendees fully understand what is involved in writing a report. You will consider the content of reports by considering the source and weight of evidence to be included, and learning to distinguish between facts, inferences and opinions. You will also consider the process of report writing, including grammar, layout, format and style. You will receive a model format which can be adapted to suit the field and context that is required.
Attendees are required to share a copy of a final report from a completed case in advance of the training. You will receive feedback on your report from an experienced lawyer trainer and from the other delegates on the day.
