About this course
This University Accredited course may be taken as part of The Diploma in Clinical and Pastoral Counselling Skills course or as a specialist course for those with previous Counselling experience. It allows the Counsellor to examine more deeply the subject of Grief and Bereavement and the techniques employed to help clients through this.

Really useful and gave good information which I do keep reading.
I work in Education, however returning to study as a mature student I did find a challenge to begin. Without the consistent guidance and support from everyone at the university, I do not feel I would have been able to continue, or to grow in confidence and knowledge in this Counselling field. I have worked hard to sustain my efforts, learned how to relate my own knowledge and experiences to Counselling and helping others. With increased determination and commitment to the study, talking on board all the comments for further development offered to me by the university, (in particular my tutor Andrew Williams and Alan Smith), I am now truly enjoying the journey.
