Description
This definitive 1-day course is proven to increase ILS compliance rates by providing healthcare professionals and those who may need to act as the first responder in an emergency with the knowledge and skills to manage a patient until more advanced help arrives.
This course is made up of lectures, skill stations and cardiac arrest simulations, covering managing a deteriorating patient, identifying causes and treating cardiac arrest, to improving abilities as both a team member and leader.
Our ILS qualification is recognised by the European Resuscitation Council and the Australian Resuscitation Council, giving you the freedom to use your lifesaving skills in other countries.

- Structured assessment of the deteriorating patient
- Recognition and management of the deteriorating patient
- Prevention of cardiac arrest
- Initial management and resuscitation of a patient
