Quarry Operation Supervision Course

Description

This course has been designed as a well-rounded programme covering key technical and soft skills for supervisors/engineers aimed particularly at new starters or people changing roles. This course covers Stevin Rock operational procedures, health and safety protocols, processing equipment, operational management, sustainability and a range of soft skills to prepare the candidate for their role in the company. Following successful completion of the course you will be awarded an Institute CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Certificate for 35 hours.

DAY 2 TECHNICAL
• Fundamentals of SHE
• Traffic and Pedestrianisation
• Emergency Response Planning
• Communication

There is some crossover between UNIT 5 Day 1 and Day 2 content, so it is imperative you read all the resources before the workshops.


DAY 3 PRACTICAL (Group Inspections)
• Static plant inspection
• Mobile site inspection
• Traffic and Pedestrianisation inspection
• Geotechnical Inspection
• SPM Tour
• Mobile Workshop Tour
