Most of us will be familiar with the term mindfulness and have an awareness of how mindful practice has become popular in recent times. This CPD delves deeper; helping you to explore background and philosophy and learn more about the people who helped to bring mindfulness to prominence as a therapeutic tool. Discover how they took the core concepts of mindfulness and formed them into programmes accessible for all. There will be an opportunity to discuss the relationship between SFH and mindfulness, alongside discovering research into the effects of mindful practice on the brain and the impact of mindfulness on wellbeing. The experiential element of this course focuses on tools that you can utilise both with your clients and incorporate into your own self-care to enhance your practice. The CPD will be conducted in a mindful way from the outset, leaving you feeling as relaxed as you are informed.
