About this course
This course is for managers that are responsible for organising, planning and managing legislative and safety compliance for work in confined spaces. The manager may or may not supervise the actual job.
This course is designed to enable those attending to be aware and understand the legal requirements for managing confined space work in the UK.
The course will provide an overview of the hazards/specified risks that bring an area under the regulations and provide an overview of the main control measures, including training and rescue.
What you will learn
- Learn how to engage a competent person(s) to manage confined space work
- Make managers aware of the need to identify confined space areas on their site and manage entries into them in line with the Regulations and Approved Code of Practice (ACOP)
