Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt

Description

Progression on to the Green Belt programme from the Yellow Belt programme will develop delegate skills and knowledge further, enabling learners to understand the process of managing a Lean Six Sigma project using the structured problem solving methodology of DMAIC and applying the relevant tools and techniques to achieve desired improvements. The Green Belt programme now combines a new additional element covering error management, which provides a detailed overview of root causes of errors and various methodologies for eliminating risk. To achieve certification delegates will be expected to complete an exam at the end of the course. What is variation and variation analysis
Descriptive statistics and data displays
Using Value Stream Mapping and other process flow tools (SIPOC)
Identifying and verifying causes (e.g. Five Whys, Ishikawa diagram etc)
Applying Voice of Customer techniques with CTQ analysis
Overview of the 5S systems and implementing it
Mistake proofing (Poka-Yoke)
Causes of error and methodologies for elimination

At the end of the course there will be an examination as well as competency assessments throughout the course.
