Description
The purpose of this course is to deliver the knowledge and understanding of the key elements of warehouse management practice that are fundamental to commercial organisations. Implementing efficient and effective management systems and harnessing new technology as appropriate can help the warehouse operations contribute to the organisation’s overall increased profitability. The course covers picking methodology, warehouse technology, performance measurement, health and safety & current legislation and key performance indicators.
What you will learn
Course participants will learn the key management issues of getting the product to the customer on time, in full, to the right place, in the right condition, with the right paperwork and at the right cost. They will also learn how to adhere to the five basic tenets of warehouse management: accuracy, efficiency, safety, security and cleanliness.
