Sales and Operations Planning & Demand Management


The course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) process with an emphasis on change management, helping delegates ensure that all stakeholders are engaged with the process and commit to meeting the organisational objectives. S&OP is a recognised process for translating strategy into reality and for engaging management across different functions in the business in delivering results. The course will encourage active participation and discussion, to aid in the understanding of the processes but also to enable the delegates to understand the challenges and develop contingency plans to mitigate any risk. The course content includes: MRPII Overview, World Class metrics for MRPII, Strategic Planning and integrating S&OP Processes, Change management and gaining employee commitment through cultural change, the PDCA loop and the five step S&OP process, Product management review stages, Demand Planning Review stage and forecasting techniques, Supply Planning processes, Integration and Reconciliation stage, Implementing Improvements and review.
